City MOGULS is run by a production team of professional dancers and event experts including Dani Kagan (Event Director), Victoria Marshman (Logistics Director), Jessica Domingo (PR Director) and Monica Gold (Social Media Director). The team gathers the city’s finest entrepreneurs–called MOGULS, influencers, young go-getters and a charitable cause to ignite the artistically-inspired event that is designed to empower the next generation of philanthropists. MOGULS are nominated by the public and in-house producers, committee and advisory board, to rock the runway, while promoting well-known Canadian brands and designers.

“We showcase incredible innovators and leaders in our community while also supporting Canadian charities,” says Dani Kagan, Founder and Co-producer of City MOGULS. “Our aim is to help the community, bring awareness to the arts, brands and Canadian charities and celebrate the achievements of MOGULS in our community.”

About City MOGULS

City MOGULS was founded by Dani Kagan in 2015, a former member of the University of Toronto dance team. Looking back on her years of performing with her dance team mates, Victoria Marshman and Jessica Domingo, she realized how much dance, music and fashion could move people in positive ways. So Dani joined forces with them and created Raise the Rhythm, the predecessor to City MOGULS, held in October 2012. The event evolved into City MOGULS, now in its second year, and brought Monica Gold on board as the fourth co-producer. The event features aspiring young entrepreneurs, philanthropists and amazing Canadian talent. This powerhouse team of women has brought awareness to many Canadian charities including Canadian Feed the Children, Autism Speaks Canada, WE and The Panov Program at Mount Sinai Hospital, raising over $75,000 during the past 5 years.

The one-of-a-kind event and held annually continues to be innovative, insightful and inspiring and an opportunity to make long-lasting impressions all around. A passionate City MOGULS team and highly- motivated volunteers bring this event to life with everyday people strutting the fashion runway, high-powered dance groups, electrifying music and incredible fashions. The result is a magical, must-attend live event.
